A private journal for your relationships

Stop scrolling. Start connecting.

The people you love should hear from you, not just see you. Watching someone’s life go by on a feed isn’t the same as checking in with them. Mento is a private journal for your relationships, built around intentional check-ins instead of superficial feeds.

A nudge for Daniel

Saturday morning is free. Coffee?

“Hey Daniel, it’s been a few weeks since that dinner. Want to grab coffee on Saturday morning?”

The antidote to social media

Real conversations, not likes.

A like takes a tenth of a second and says almost nothing. A feed lets you feel close to dozens of people while speaking to none of them. That’s the illusion of connection.

Mento has no feed, no follower counts and no reactions. It simply remembers who you haven’t spoken to in a while, and nudges you to reach out: a call, a message, a coffee. Then it helps you keep a note of what you talked about.

How it works

Three quiet steps, no feed in sight.

  1. I

    Build your circles

Sort the people who matter into circles (partner, family, close friends) and say how often you’d like to be in touch.

  2. II

    Keep a memory vault

After a coffee or a call, write a line about it. Tell Mento in your own words and it files who, when and what for you.

  3. III

    Get a thoughtful nudge

When someone’s due, Mento suggests a plan that fits your calendar, with a ready-to-send message to propose it. Suggestions are drafted from your notes and never used to train models.

Partners & inner circles

Built for the people who actually matter.

Your partner. Your family. Your closest friends. Mento is designed around the handful of relationships that deserve real attention, not for broadcasting to hundreds of acquaintances.

Keep a private memory vault for the details that make someone feel remembered: the restaurant they loved, the thing they were worried about, the plan you made last time.

Radical privacy

A private vault, not an ad network.

We don’t sell your data, we don’t show ads, and we don’t build a profile of you to rent out. We make Mento to promote human connection, and that’s the only thing it does.

What you write about the people in your life is yours alone. It’s never posted, shared or made public, and it’s never used to train AI models. You can delete your account and everything in it, at any time.

Someone is waiting to hear from you.
